Photographing Maggie & Tucker’s Golden Ledge, Telluride Wedding

There are few places as breathtaking — or worth saying “I do!” at — as Golden Ledge in Telluride. Nestled above town, surrounded by aspen groves and sweeping mountain views, it’s a place that feels suspended in its own quiet kind of magic. Maggie and Tucker, who have been coming here from Texas for years, chose this incredible setting for their wedding — a destination celebration that felt both deeply personal and effortlessly chic.
I’ve photographed countless weddings across the world, but this one had a rare blend of authenticity and style. Maggie and Tucker are the kind of people who make everyone feel at home, even in a space as grand as this. Their ceremony took place in the Aspen Grove, sunlight flickering through the trees as guests gathered in anticipation. Later, the reception unfolded beneath a beautifully tented space — a lively, mountain-chic party with hundreds of guests, incredible live music, and a design that felt like a scene from Vogue brought to life.
Wendy of Soiree Telluride planned every detail with her signature precision, and New Leaf Design transformed the space with modern, organic florals that echoed the natural landscape. The team at 221 South Oak created an unforgettable culinary experience, grounding the day’s elegance in warm, local hospitality. As both photographer and videographer team , we were immersed in every layer of the story — from quiet, emotional exchanges before the ceremony to the energy of the dance floor beneath the stars.

Weddings like this remind me why I love photographing in Telluride — the light, the altitude, and the genuine connection people share here. Maggie and Tucker’s day wasn’t just a celebration of love; it was a reflection of a place that has shaped so many of their memories. A true Golden Ledge moment — fleeting, luminous, and entirely unforgettable.
